Q. What is Relay For Life?
A. It is not a race, run, 5K, etc. Relay For Life is a community gathering in which we Celebrate cancer survivors, Remember those lost to cancer, and Fight Back through awareness, and fundraising for research and free supports to cancer patients and loved ones. Participants and guests enjoy activities for all ages as well as meaningful ceremonies. Teams camp overnight. The “Relay” part refers to a walking path/track participants walk, as they wish, throughout the event, in a symbolic march against our common enemy...cancer.
