SUMMARY:2022 Sweet Corn Festival Golf Scramble
DESCRIPTION:Grab your clubs and get that foursome together and be part of this year's exciting Sweet Corn Classic Golf Challenge on Sunday\, June 5th.\n\n \n\nThe annual tournament will have a 4-player scramble format with a shot gun start at 9:00 A.M. at the Mendota Golf Course on Rt. 34 just west of Mendota.\n\n\n\nMixed teams are welcome\; men will play blue tees with ladies playing white. Cash prizes will be awarded.\n\n \n\nThe Mendota Area Chamber of Commerce has announced this year's tournament will again feature Schimmer GM 's Hole in One Contest. All participants in this year's tournament will have the opportunity to shoot for a hole-in-one on hole #9. With a little good fortune and a little skill\, some lucky golfer could be driving home in a brand-new vehicle!!\n\n\n\nIn 2021 we had a total of 27 teams golfing - 24 men's teams\, and 3 women's teams. Prize to the top team was $1\,000 cash with cash payouts for teams 2-4 as well as a prize for the top women's team.\n\n\n\nEntry forms can be obtained by calling the Mendota Area Chamber of Commerce at (815) 539-6507\, click the link to download the form\, or by stopping by the Mendota Golf Course.
